THE LONGER YOU WAIT THE HARDER IT GETS TO COLLECT
THINGS YOU PROBABLY WANT TO KNOW
The law demands a wait period of 28 days minimum to properly notify all interested parties, complete multiple cycles of statutory publication and provide for a reasonable opportunity to dispute the validity of the lien or make settlement arrangements by the debtor party or others with legal standing.
No one can get your lien done any faster.
To get a NYS Garageman’s Lien however you first must have a valid reason to require one: a valid debt incurred by a properly authorized professional service transaction on a piece of property (car, boat, motorcycle, truck, etc) that you have in your secure possession, only then can you legally authorize the filing, auction, sale and transfer of ownership of another persons property that owes you money. In the simplest terms you must have: a valid business license, a valid authorized bill and the property in your possession. After that we take care of it all.
The DMV is the only entity in New York that issues titles and they have the final say. No one, no where, no way can guarantee you a legal title using any process except for the DMV. What I can tell you is Rapid Liens is far and away the most successful firm in the state at processing liens that get titles. So while a title is not guaranteed its about 97% when our customers give us good information to work with. Those are damn good odds.
Keep in mind though that a title issuance is a result of a thorough review of our paperwork and your documents by the DMV Garageman’s lien division, OFI- Office of Field Investigations and on a rare occasion even the auto crime division of your local police. Simply put, a good lien will almost guarantee you a title but a bad one might end you up with an investigator, lawyer or even a cop at your door.
The bottom line is Rapid Liens is far and away recognized as the best and most professional lien firm in the state, our rates are affordable, our service is impeccable and our results are unmatched. Keep in mind placing a lien and subsequently foreclosing on a title is a powerful procedure under the law and it comes with risk and liability.
If you’re willing to put that trust in any guy with a business card and a cheap price, good luck. In fact call our office and we will give you the disconnected phone numbers of a dozen guys who claim to do liens.
